Tony Morris, 65 of Chloe, West Virginia, passed away May 31, 2006 at the home of his sister following a long illness.
Born at Chloe, he was a son of the late P.M. and Alice Richardson Morris. He was a shop foreman at B&C Machine Shop in Barberton, Ohio and worked in pipeline construction. He was a member of the Steelworkers and Laborers Union Local #1353.
Surviving are five children, Ron Morris of Chloe, David Morris and Pam Morris both of Barberton, Scott Morris of Grantsville, and Tina Kanouse of New York; 7 grandchildren; sister Barbara Mace and brother, John Morris both of Chloe; two special friends, Ralph Flinn and Gordon Parsons.
He was preceded in death by one grandchild, 2 brothers and a sister.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, June 5 at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg, WV. Rev. Dewey Tanner will officiate. Interment will be in the Coen Cemetery at Nebo.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday evening. |
