Argle L. "Pete" Stump, 67 of Grantsville, WV, formerly of Stumptown, died Tuesday, July 17 in
United Hospital Center, Clarksburg, WV.
Born in Calhoun County at Fairview, he was a son of the late Paul and Georgie Riddle Stump.
He was US Army veteran and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars at Grantsville.
He had attended Rush Run Baptist Church at Stumptown.
Surviving Mr. Stump is his sister, Gertrude McCray of Parkersburg, WV.
Graveside services will be held Thursday at 12 noon at the Collins Community Cemetery,
Stumptown, WV. There will be no visitation. Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville is in charge of
arrangements. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to the Rush Run
Baptist Church, Stumptown. |
