A Stinson man was injured before noon Tuesday when his farm tractor rolled over on a steep driveway. Jack Starcher, about 40, reportedly received a broken arm, collarbone and possible internal injuries. The tractor turned over on its top.

A family spokesperson said Starcher was "seriously injured but in stable condition."

He managed to remove himself from the tractor, walking a short distance to be assisted by neighbors Charlotte and Eric Cadle. Calhoun EMS-Minnora Center transported the injured man to Roane General Hospital. He was later transferred to Charleston Area Medical Center.

The accident occurred at Stinson, near the Clay-Calhoun line.
