The autopsy report due today has been delayed, according to Trooper/1st
Class William Marshall of the West Virginia State Police in Elizabeth. Steven
O. Burner's body was discovered July 2 in a cottage along the Little
Kanawha River, one-quarter mile west of Creston.
The 39-year-old man had been staying alone in the cottage which was
originally owned by his parents.
Trooper Marshall said the death was being treated with "the possibility of
foul play," since his death was unattended. He said the results will be
forthcoming.
