Rev. Rick Swearengin awarding Casey Westfall scholarship
Calhoun County United Methodist Cooperative Parish awarded High School Senior Casey Westfall, the daughter of Scotty (Chip) and Janice Westfall a $500 scholarship.
This is the sixth year the Calhoun United Methodist Cooperative Parish has awarded such scholarships based on church and community involvement and expression of the applicant's faith.
Pastor Mary Zimmer, Coordinator for the Parish said, "The scholarship is made possible through gifts from individuals and United Methodist Churches within Calhoun County."
"The scholarship recognizes and supports our youth and their openness in being servants of Christ, which continues to be an important and exciting ministry for the Parish," said Zimmer.
