Virginia L. "Jenny" Myers Bright, 65, of Big Bend, West Virginia, went home to be with the Lord on May 9, 2006.
Jenny was a member of Brooksville Baptist Church and attended several different churches. She was born March 20, 1941 at Rock Hollow, Roane County.
She is the daughter of the late Robert Levi and Freda Belle Potts Myers.
She is survived by her husband William (Bill) Bright, three children Michael E. Myers and wife Lorraine of Mt.Zion, Laura A. Marks and husband Jeffro of Big Bend, Billie J. Keaffaber and husband Larry of Grantsville; seven grandchildren, Jenny Myers, Jeremiah and Jaden Marks, Pat, Grace, Steven and William Keaffaber; one great grandson Austin Myers.
Also surviving are five brothers Billy Ray Myers, Keith Myers, Jim Myers, Darrell Myers and Benjamin Myers and one sister Sally Kay O'Brien; several stepchildren, step grandchildren, step great-grand children.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one husband Robert Hanes, one infant son Eddie Starcher, one brother Harry Myers and six sisters Viola Smith, Dixie Blackshier, Madaline Myers, Barbara Nichols, Estel Myers and Clara Myrtle Myers.
Jenny had registered her body with the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine.
Memorial services will be held at a future time. Donations in her memory can be made to Minnie Hamilton Health Care Center Long Term Care activity fund.
