| Wirt County residents passed a levy supporting the school system to cover the next five years.
The levy was overwhelmingly approved by a vote of 635 to 260.
In Gilmer County a levy to support the county recreation center for the next three years did not pass.
It required 60 percent to
pass and only received 55.5% of the vote.
