She was a daughter of the late Obie and Emma Frederick Bumgarner. She was a Protestant by faith.

Survivors include two daughters, Hazeline Price and Brenda Atkins both of Spencer; and two sons, Earl Waggoner of Deerfield, Ohio, and Harold of Newport, Tenn.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald in 1985.
