It has been a few bad days in Mingo County.
TWO DEAD AFTER MINGO SHOOTING - Two men are dead and another injured after an early morning shooting Monday in Mingo County.
Chief Sheriff's Deputy Bruce Stroud says the shooting occurred at a mobile home in Marrowbone.
The trailer was owned by a friend of the two men who were killed.
The two victims were pronounced dead at the scene, with another person hospitalized with a gunshot wound to his leg.
The names of the victims have not been released.
LOGAN MAN STABBED IN MINGO - A Mingo County man has been charged with murder and attempted murder for allegedly stabbing a Logan County man to death.
He also injured his own wife this past weekend.
Forty-five-year-old Paul Daniel Newcomb of Gilbert Creek has been arrested.
Newcomb is accused of stabbing 34-year-old Dennis Toler of the town of Christian. He is also accused of injuring his wife, 31-year-old Joanna Newcomb.
Logan County Sheriff Eddie Hunter says the two men got into a fight at Toler's home. He wasn't sure how Newcomb's wife got involved in the fracas.
Joanna Newcomb was taken to Logan Regional Medical Center.
Paul Newcomb is being held at Southwestern Regional Jail in Holden.
