Wauneta Belle Goff Keller died Monday, March 27, 2006, at her home in Burnt House, West Virginia.
She was born January 1, 1923, a daughter of the late Trevy and Loretta Black Goff.
She is survived by three sons, Douglas and Thomas of the home and Alan and his wife, Mari of Parkersburg; a daughter, Nina Wilson and her husband, Roger of Parkersburg. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Kacie Reynolds (husband, Ray), Katie Jo Keller, Jeffrey Keller (wife, Stacie), Alison Wilson and Ashton Wilson; stepgrandchildren, April and Shannon Gess; and three great-granddaughters, Sara, Toni and Taylor Rae. She is also survived by four sisters, Wanda Keller (her twin), Wilda Billey, Wilma Riddle and Winifred Eddy; and a brother, Leon Goff.
Wauneta was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Claude Keller; her son, Ernest Claude Keller II; an infant daughter, Linell Doreen Keller; infant granddaughter, Valerie Dawn Wilson; and grandson, Jason Keller.
She lived her whole life in Ritchie County, graduated from Harrisville High School and earned her associate's degree from Parkersburg Community College. She worked for Ritchie County Community Action, was active in her community and enjoyed gardening and canning.
She was blessed with many caring friends and neighbors.
As per her wishes after donating her body for research, her ashes will be interred next to her husband, son and daughter.
There will be a memorial service at 2 p.m. Friday, March 31 at the Burnt House Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to the Douglas and Thomas Keller Trust at Calhoun Banks, P.O. Box 430, Grantsville, WV 26147.
