A nearly half-million dollar USDA Rural Development
Distance Learning and Telemedicine Grant is being announced this morning at a presentation and reception at Roane County High School.
The check presentation will begin at 9 a.m. with a welcome from Stephen F. Goffreda, Superintendent.
Ms. Shelley Moore Capito, Congresswoman, and Dot Underwood, Governor Manchin's Office, will offer comments.
Other dignitaries include Ron Mellon, GFR USDA, Rural Development, Washington, DC and Rob Steptoe, State Director, WV USDA Rural Development.
