"Fifty years and counting," said Virginia Weaver Buck, one of the organizers of the
Class of 1951 reunion held Saturday, July 7 at the Calhoun County Park barn. She said
38 members attended the special event.

Ron Godfrey welcomed the group, after which class member Rev. Gene Kerby offered
the opening prayer and read a list of deceased classmates "Those Remembered."

Following group picture taking, the afternoon was spent in conversation with light
refreshments. A program booklet was presented by Betty Barr Blosser. A special
birthday card was sent to Clyde Dotson for his 90th birthday. Dotson, a former CHS
teacher, now resides in Florida.
