Whitey Forron, 80, of Spencer, died Friday, March 18, 2006, in the Roane General Hospital, Spencer, after an extended illness.
He was born October 11, 1925 in Rainelle. Whitey was a former employee of Spencer Business Forms, Inc., Hardman-Conrad Funeral Home and Vandale Funeral Home all of Spencer. He was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II. His hobbies were camping and fishing with his family.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy J. Forron of Spencer; stepson and daughter-in-law, Eddie Gene and Joyce Lynn Burgess of Spencer; son, James Rick Wright of Portsmouth, OH and daughter, Melody Wilkins of Morgantown; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Thelma Forron and one son, William D. Forron.
His body will be cremated and a private graveside service will be conducted at a later date.
