Temporary bridge on Rt. 14 could be open within weeks

Progress is being made on the installation of a temporary bridge on State Rt. 14, six miles south of Elizabeth. The Lee Bridge was declared unsafe for traffic last fall and regional residents have been detouring.
Rt. 14 is a frequently used route from Spencer to Parkersburg.
The WVDH has not announced when the bridge will be open for service, but it could be within a few weeks. |
