| James Eugene Schreckengost 62 of Looneyville, West Virginia,
died March 9, 2006 at home.
He was born August 8, 1943 in Calhoun County, a
son of the late Warren and Lelah Laughlin
Schreckengost. He was a pipeliner, a member of
IUOE Local 132 for 36 years and worked for the WV
Department of Highways.
He is survived by his wife Bonita Bowman
Schreckengost; one son and daughter-in-law Jeffery
and Susie Schreckengost of Clover, WV; five
daughters Jenifer Longfellow of Spencer, WV,
Jannette Schreckengost of Ripley, WV, Bonita "BJ"
Schreckengost of Morgantown WV, and Jamie and
Jessica Schreckengost both of Looneyville;
Three Grandchildren, Jaci Schreckengost Holly
Longfellow, and Andrew White
one niece and one nephew.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in
death by a brother, Warren Schreckengost Jr. and
a sister, Mary K. Strickland.
Service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 12,
2006 at Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home, Spencer, WV.
Rev. Danny Whited officiating. Burial will
be in the Otto Cemetery. Visiting hours are
Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
