A long-time tradition of valentine flowers being delivered and exchanged at Calhoun Middle-High School has been restored, according to one of the parents, Jennifer Miller.
"The administration has reconsidered it's decision to eliminate the receiving of flowers and gifts on Valentines Day," she said last night.
Miller said the tradition will continue with the help of volunteers.
The school had been concerned about the tight rules surrounding days of instruction.
"Thank you Mr. Offutt and staff for placing smiles back on children's faces," said Miller. |
