The Calhoun County 4-H Leaders'Association sponsored its annual Ski Trip fundraiser on January 16.
It was a glorious event. The conditions were very good for an exciting day of thrills and spills on the slopes of Canaan Valley Ski Resort. The temperature was mild, and the sunshine poured down on 53, not quite ready for the Winter Olympics, but very happy skiers.
Events such as this are impossible to arrange without dedicated volunteers. A huge thank you goes to Kenny Whystell, who diligently coordinated the activity.
