Button collecting has been a hobby for many folks around the country for a long time. The National Button Society was first formed in 1938.
Joining a club is one of the best ways for new collectors, or seasoned veterans to learn more about the subject.
A group of ladies in Ritchie County have formed a club, the Ritchie County Button'eers.
They invite anyone interested to join them at their next meeting at 2 p.m. on February 12 at the Municipal Building in Harrisville. The subject will be Vegetable Ivory
Buttons.
