The WV Mountain Bike Association met January 6th to finalize its slate of races for the 2006 season.
WVMBA will hold a 13 race point series; a racer must complete 5 races to qualify for the Point Series, and scoring will be based upon the racer's best 6 results, plus their score at the final, Championship race.
WVMBA Point Series racing classes are Men's Pro/Expert Open, Women's Pro/Expert Open, Men's Expert Vet 35+, Men's Expert Master 45+, Men's Junior Expert 18&under, Expert Single Speed Open, Men's Sport 19-34, Men's Sport Vet 35+, Men's Sport Master 45+, Men's High School Sport 15-18, Men's Junior Sport 14&under, Women's Sport 19-34, Women's Vet Sport 35+, Women's Junior Sport 14&Under, Women's High School Sport 15-18, Clydesdale (200 lb+) Sport, and both Men's & Women's Beginner. Some races have additional classes.
