Mabel Marie (Perrine) Norman, age 90, died Thursday, December 29th at St. Francis Hospital after an extended illness.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Park Norman, her parents, Earl and Minnie (Wilson) Perrine and her brother Charley.
Survivors include her daughter, Betty McAdam of St. Albans, with whom she lived for the past year, son Blaine of Spencer, sister Macil Frame of Stumptown and brother Shirley of Elizabeth, five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was a Baptist by faith and, as a homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to all who knew her, enjoyed gardening, quilting, and reminiscing with friends and neighbors and was admired for her culinary skills.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at the Stump Funeral Home in Arnoldsburg. Pastor Roger Stewart will officiate. Interment will be in the Collins Community Cemetery at Stumptown. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the American Heart Association or the Kidney Foundation. |
