| Audrey Ruth Woofter, 84, of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, passed away December 25, 2005.
Born at DeKalb, Gilmer County, December 26, 1920, she was a daughter of the late Newton and Hattie Westfall Woofter.
She was preceded in death by her beloved aunt Leatha Westfall, brothers, Worthy (Vercil) Woofter and Albert J. Woofter who was a columnist for the Parkersburg News, sisters, Dura (Tom) Gainer, Cecil (Roy) Bland, Lenore (Frank) Conley, Virginia (Dale) Rafferty and nephew Robert Gainer.
Ruth was a devoted aunt to nieces and nephews Romana Bingman, Roanna Rafferty, Colleen Fling, Richard Woofter, Carolyn Godby, Linda Hopkins, and Sandra and several grand nieces and nephews.
Ruth enjoyed church, family parties, her favorite television shows, and especially the Cuyahoga Falls Elder Care Center where she made many new friends. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 12 noon at the Stump Funeral Home in Grantsville, WV. Rev. Robert Nicholas will be officiate. Interment will be in the Meadow Lane Cemetery Glenville. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 PM Friday 10 AM to time of services Saturday.
