Steve "Boston" Heath demonstrates features
A new, heavy-duty, high-tech ambulance cot was placed in service yesterday by
Calhoun EMS. The $3200 device was purchased with a grant from the Parkersburg Area Foundation.
"It has a 600 weight limit," said Heath. It can roll over rocky and uneven ground, has a
brake, an IV pole, oxygen tank and numerous compartments for medical
equipment.
"It is sturdily constructed for rural use," said Heath.
