Arlice "June" Farrar Stiles, 88, of Mineral Wells passed away Dec. 9, 2005, at Sunbridge Nursing and Rehabilitation.
She was born Sept. 18, 1917, in Calhoun County, a daughter of the late Ernest C. and Martha Campbell Farrar.
June was retired from O'Ames Co. as a production worker, was a former Girl Scout leader, had taught Sunday school and was a member of the Mineral Wells Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Eugene L. Stiles; one daughter, Delia "Dee" Jean Jones and her husband, James "Sonny," of Newark; two granddaughters, Ginger Shepard of Roanoke, Va., and Tracey Johnson of Vienna; one grandson, Jimmy McCase of Newark; one sister, Mildred Bennett of Stowe, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Charles, Wade, Ronald, Robert and Ray Farrar; and three sisters, Nelsa Stump, Kathleen Farrar and Betty Hupp.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at the Mineral Wells Baptist Church, with the Rev. Claude Stevens officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery at Mineral Wells. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike Street, south Parkersburg.
