Randall Wayne "Randy" Parsons, 53, of Ripley, formerly of Spencer, died Tuesday, December 6, 2005, from an apparent heart attack.
He was born July 22, 1952, in Charleston, a son of Phyllis J. Moore Parsons of Marmet and the late Donald Parsons, Sr. Also, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Violet Parsons.
Randy was a self employed real estate broker for Century 21 Premier Properties, Ripley. He was a member and past officer of the WV Real Estate Brokers Council. He was active with Quality Deer Management Association.
He was baptized at the Marmet Baptist Church, Marmet. He attended the Ripley Baptist Temple, Ripley and formerly attended the St. John's United Methodist Church, Spencer.
A 1971 graduate of East Bank High School, he also attended Marshall University, Glenville State College and West Virginia State College.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Deborah Parsons of Ripley; a daughter, Jennifer Parsons-Ross of Charleston; a son, Sean R. Parsons of Ripley; two sisters, Donna Velie of Princeton and Annabelle Grose of Nitro; two brothers, Rodger Parsons of Erie, PA and Donald Parsons of Grovetown, GA.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date with Pastor Rick Perrine officiating.
