Jennifer Marie Salisbury-Longfellow, 11, of Parkersburg, formerly of Reedy, WV, died June 23, at the West Burn
Center in Pittsburgh from injuries sustained in a house fire in Parkersburg.
She was born June 27, 1990 in Spencer. She was a straight A student at Spencer Middle School last year.
She was a member of student council, and enjoyed 4-H, sports and butterflies. She knew sign language and
worked through the PATCH program and attended the Beech Grove Church of Reedy. She was baptized as
a Methodist.
She is survived by her parents, John Edward and Charlotte Longfellow of Parkersburg; grandmothers, Jean Salisbury of
Spencer and Rose Epling of Reedy; three sisters, Christina Briddick of Norfolk, VA, Kimberly Johnson and her husband, Neil
of Vienna, and Alexandra Longfellow of Parkersburg; a brother, Zachary Longfellow of Parkersburg; four aunts; four uncles;
two nieces and several cousins.
Service will be Thursday, June 28, at Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer with Rev. John H. Longfellow
officiating. Burial will be in the Clover Cemetery near Spencer. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to the service at the
funeral home. The family suggests donations be made to the Salvation Army's Camp Happy
Valley, PO Box 6130, Charleston, WV 25362.
