Katherine Pearl "Crickett" Sloan, 31, of Walton, died Thursday, November 10, 2005, at 11:15 p.m., from injuries she received when the car she was driving struck at utility pole near the O'Dell Exxon station, Amma.
Survivors include two sons, Cruz Smith and Harlan Osborne both of the home; one daughter, Kaitlin Sloan of the home; her mother and stepfather, Alice and Dale Burdette of Mantua, OH; father and stepmother, James and Barbara Lambert of Cleveland, OH; six brothers, D.J., Cheyenne, Jay, Mac, Josh and Gary Burdette; one sister, Britney Burdette; two half brothers, David Gertz and Lewis Lambert; one half sister, Jennifer Gertz.
A memorial service was conducted Sunday, November 13 at 2 p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Charles Swiney officiating. There was a gathering of family and friends one hour prior to the service.
Memorial contributions are preferred to the charity of one's choice.
