| AUTO FIRE ON RUSH RUN - The Arnoldsburg VFD responded to a car fire on the left fork of Rush Run (Rt. 16) at 9:10 p.m. last night. The car was fully involved when firemen arrived.
HIGH WATER CLOSES HENRY'S FORK - Flooding struck Roane County last night with high water blocking Henry's Fork road along the Roane-Calhoun line, preventing school buses from operating. The water quickly receded.
WHITE PINE POWER LINE PROBLEM - The Grantsville VFD responded to a power line arcing or down just off White Pine Road last night.
DRUG-SNIFFING DOGS AT CALHOUN MIDDLE-HIGH SCHOOL - State Police and the Calhoun Sheriff's Department used two drug-sniffing dogs at Calhoun Middle-High School yesterday. The visit was unannounced. Authorities did not find any illegal drugs. |
