Assistant football coach Mike Stump said yesterday he was "getting psyched" for tonight's closer with the St. Mary's Blue Devils (8-1).
If Calhoun (8-1) wins, they will likely be in 4th place in "A" play in the state, certainly play-off bound.
A downside with tonight's game, only one of three main players will likely return to the field, all suffering recent injuries.
Tonight's game starts at 7:30 p.m. and is expected to draw a big crowd at Mt. Zion.
It has been a long time since Calhoun went to the playoffs, not forgetting that Calhoun Middle School just won the division championship last week. |
