Five Calhoun High students attended the National Future Farmers of America convention in Louisville, Kentucky, October 26-28, with their advisor Donald Poage. They were among 36,000 national members present at the convention.
While in Louisville, the FFA team spent time in the annual FFA mall and attended a career show where colleges and companies displayed information for FFA members.
They attended a session listening to guest speakers and went to the Bull Bash Rodeo.
On the way to Louisville they visited the Salato Wildlife Center.
