Lenora Faye Cottrill, 74, of Rosedale, West Virginia, died October 27, 2005 at home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born April 24, 1931 in Braxton County, the daughter of the late George and Birdie Goodrich of Mt. Zion.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Edward Don Cottrill of Rosedale; two sons, Dennis Cottrill and his wife Shelly of Gassaway, and Stanley Cottrill and his wife Tresha of Rosedale; three daughters, Susie Brannon and her husband Vere of Arnoldsburg, Sharon Boggs and her husband John of Perkins, and Connie Smith and her husband Gary of Grantsville.
Mrs. Cottrill is also survived by eleven grandchildren, Shelly Mace and Aime Carper of Arnoldsburg, Donna Boggs of Perkins, Eric Boone of Arnoldsburg, Chris Boone of Grantsville, Joey and Michelle Cottrill of Rosedale, Mindy Cottrill of Gassaway, Denny and Erica Cottrill of Grantsville, and Tyler Cottrill of Gassaway; five great grandchildren, Chris and Evan Mace, Corey and Trenton Boone and Gracie Carper all of Arnoldsburg. Also two sisters, Erma Webb and Violet Murphy of Spencer; and two brothers, Carmel Goodrich of Mt. Zion and Bruce Goodrich of Walton.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Bill Goodrich, his wife, Mary Sue and their son, Michael.
Mrs. Cottrill loved quilting, gardening and all of her family.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, October 31 at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg, WV. Elder George Rose will officiate. Interment will be in the Mill Fork Cemetery at Rosedale.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
