Mary Pearl Richards, 95, of Big Springs, West Virginia, passed away Saturday, October 15, 2005 at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg, WV.
She was born September 15, 1910 at Ayers, Calhoun County, a daughter of of the late Floyd and Cardie Kimble Selmon. She was a member of the Broomstick Community Church and was a homemaker.
She is survived by a daughters, Sue Wayne of Steubenville, Ohio and Gladys Parker of Parkersburg; stepdaughter, Joann Dawson of Grantsville; three step sons, Roger, Robert and Kenneth Richards all of Simpsonville, SC; 9 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, Glen Smith; her second husband, Shirdie Richards; son Delmas Smith; step daughters, Doris Lanzo and Carol Green; sister, Alma Wright; and brother, Alfred Selmon.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday, October 19 at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville. Pastors Roger Wayne and Allen Wayne will officiate. Interment will be in the Broomstick Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday evening. |
