| Doy D. Nicholas, 85, of Orma, West Virginia, passed away Sunday, October 16, 2005 at his home following a long illness.
Born near Orma, he was a son of the late Walter and Dora Nicholas Cottrill. He was a farmer and timberman, and was a member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church at Orma.
Surviving are his wife, Rena Groves Nicholas and two sons, Robert Nicholas and Junior McCumbers both of Orma; and brother, Ronzel Nicholas, also of Orma.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Alma Collins and Anna Lee Snyder.
Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, October 20 in the Conley Cemetery near Orma. Rev. Carl Marks will officiate.
Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg is in charge of arrangements.
