| Retta June Richards Meadows, 74, of Mt. Zion, Calhoun County, West Virginia, passed away October 11, 2005 at Eagle Pointe Nursing Home, Parkersburg.
She was born August 13, 1931 in Calhoun Co., a daughter of the late Mollie Frederick Richards and Wilson Monroe Richards.
She is survived by one daughter, Ada Smith of Davisville; a son, John Allen Meadows and his wife Robin of Parkersburg; and a daughter-in-law, Debra L. Meadows of Parkersburg; sister, Violet Richards of Calhoun Co.; three brothers, Henry Richards of Calhoun Co., Ershal Richards of Petersburg, and Larry Richards of Parkersburg; seven grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sons, William M. Meadows and Denny L. Meadows; one daughter, Nola M. Johnston; three brothers, Ivan, Charles and Orland Richards, and one sister, Edith H. Richards.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, October 14 at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville. Interment will be in Hunt Cemetery at Big Bend.
Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. |
