| Lucille Gay Hargus, 97, of Lancaster, Ohio, died Thursday, October 6, 2005, in the Crestview Sheridan Nursing Home, Lancaster.
She was born May 15, 1908, at Ryan, Roane County, a daughter of the late Marshall A. and Eva Boner Harper. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Okey Hargus in 1978; two sisters, Lona Hunt and Gertrude Hunt.
Mrs. Hargus was a homemaker.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Quentin and JoAnn Hargus of Lancaster and Garland and Brenda Hargus of Canal Winchester, OH; two daughters and sons-in-law, Rose Marie and Richard Hurley of Canal Winchester and Mary H. and Howard Schisler of Lancaster; seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be conducted Sunday, October 9 at 1:30 p.m. in the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, Walton, with the Rev. Jim Burdette officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
Friends may call at the church one hour before the service on Sunday.
