Elizabeth J. Shaffer, 61, of Walker, WV, died June 16, 2001, at Camden-Clark Memorial
Hospital.
She was born in Calhoun County, a daughter of the late Roscoe and Georgia Kelley Plant. She
had been employed for 19 years at Ohio Valley Health Care Center, where she worked as a
Certified Nursing Assistant. She was a member of the Camden Avenue Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Archie Shaffer of Walker; her children, Michael Shaffer and
Shelley Shaffer, both of Davisville, and Mitchell Shaffer and Laura Lynn Shaffer, both of Walker;
her grandchildren, Chad Michael Shaffer and Kelsie Waggoner of Davisville and Kyle Shaffer of
Walker; her brother, Roy L. Plant of Parkersburg, and Robert and James Plant both of
Grantsville; her sisters, Sharon Chadock of Cambridge, Ohio and Caroyln Shaffer of Grantsville;
several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Hazel Staul and Dortha Siers.
Services will be held 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Chapel of Peace
Mausoleum, Evangelist Brian Jones officiating. Entombment in Sunset Memory Gardens.
