The Calhoun Fellowship of Christian Athletes held a Huddle, on Sunday, September 18th at the home of leader, Steven Cunningham.
Thirty-one strong were fed from a generous spread of food by hosts, Donald and Lori Wilson. Those in attendance were, leaders, Andrea Hardway, Katie Walker, Hannah Conley, Jess Heiney, Chad Conley, Matt Houchin, Justin Ramsey, Seth Jarvis. Athletes attending were, Briana Blankenship, Kayla Wilson, Tyler Schartiger, Michaela Yoak, Hannah Wilson, Chris Mace, Josh Funk, Zac Yeager, Jeff Goodrich, Justin Whipkey, Jeremy Conley, Courtney McKown, Caleb Ball, Matt Whipkey, Michael Joseph, Tom Gerwig, Paul Goodrich, Tessa Batten, and Chance Hardway. Alumni in attendance were Justin Price and Mikey Batten.
Following Huddle Coach Bailey's opening prayer, all joined in a competitive test of the mind and body - a Warm-up called "Monster Creation". Although everyone was victorious, brother Gerwig and his seven actually crossed the finish line first! Since there seemed to be an unusual energy in the group, another Warm-up ensued, one called "I Didn't Know That!". We then feasted on a generous amount of food supplied by the hosts. Coach Bailey's Work-Out was on "relationships".
A brief discussion about upcoming events and adjournment was followed by prayer. Thanks go out to Samantha Wilson and Kevin Cunningham for their assistance.
