| Gary L. "Big Hands" Wilson, 51, of Spencer, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2005, in the Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston, after a battle with his cancer.
He was born June 23, 1954, in Elizabeth, the son of Robert L. "Bob" Wilson of Spencer and the late Georgia R. Brabham Wilson.
He was a former employee of Miller Trucking, Dale Brothers and Kellwood Company all of Spencer. Also, he worked for Grademaker, Lothian, MD and Red's Rollin Garage, Bidwell, OH.
He enjoyed farming, hunting and fishing. He was a 1972 graduate of Spencer High School and attended the Peniel United Methodist Church, Peniel.
In addition to his father, survivors include three daughters, Tracy Hartness, Andrea Nicholson and Mary Mace all of Spencer; one sister, Joyce A. Linkinogger of Spencer; six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, September 27 at 2:00 p.m. in the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, with Pastor Smith Epling officiating. Burial will be in the Eventide Cemetery, Spencer.
