| Eugene P. Greathouse, 75, of Elizabeth, W.Va., passed away Friday, Sept. 23, 2005, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital in Parkersburg from a long illness.
He was born in Annamoriah, W.Va., the son of the late Scott Thomas and Ova Mae Grogg Greathouse. He was a former employee of the W.Va. Department of Highways.
Surviving is a son, Bobby; four sisters, Maxine Davis of Elizabeth, Pauline Messner of Barberton, Ohio, Virginia Schwartz of Creston, W.Va., and Emma Arthur of Mineral Wells; and two brothers, Franklin of Akron, Ohio, and Huey of Lowell, Ohio.
Memorial services will be 2 p.m. today at the Matheny Pomroy Funeral Home of Elizabeth.
