U. S. highway 33 will be dedicated today as a Blue Star Memorial Highway at a special ceremony in front of the Roane County courthouse in Spencer, starting at 2 p.m.
A highway marker with the designation is being placed in front of the courthouse, by the sponsoring groups.
The Blue Star designation honors the American servicemen and women who have dedicated their lives to America.
