Denver D. Tanner, 41, of Arnoldsburg, West Virginia, died September 18, 2005 at home.
He was born February 28, 1964 in Spencer, WV, a son of A. Gale and Frances L. Ash Tanner of Arnoldsburg. He worked for Slurry Paving of Richmond, Virginia, drove tractor-trailers, enjoyed outdoor activities, motorcycles and ATVs.
He is survived by one daughter, Sharon Frances Tanner of Indiana; one son, Dustin Lee Tanner at home; four sisters, Kathy Tanner of Sand Ridge, WV, Veronica May of Arnoldsburg, WV and Joyce Crouser and Kimberly Tanner both of Micro, NC; six brothers, Howard Tanner of Akron, OH, James and Kevin D. Tanner both of Ravenswood, WV, Michael and Kevin G. Tanner both of Princeton, NC, and Keith Tanner of Smithfield, NC.
Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, September 22, 2005 at Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home, Spencer, with Rev. Rick Matheny officiating. Burial will be in the Tanner Family Cemetery near Arnoldsburg.
Visiting hours are Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
