Grantsville has a new mayor.
Wilbert Kerby will assume the position at the end of September, with Mayor Neil Blankenship's resignation effective on September 29th.
Acting Mayor Roger Propst called a special meeting to order last night, asking Grantsville council members to express their will.
With four members of council attending, Cheryl Davis absent and Kerby abstaining, the vote was 3-0 to approve Kerby.
Blankenship resigned citing health reasons and that he and his wife had purchased property out of town. |
