After a few days delay, the Grantsville swimming pool is open full force. Pool manager
Todd Ritchie says it has been super busy since opening day, June 10th. He said the
delay was because of some broken pipes and a delay on painting the pool because of
rainy weather.

"We appreciate community support."
"We really appreciate the support the community is giving the pool," said Ritchie.
"We're hopeful the attendance will continue to build."
Ritchie says he is planning on a community pool party, in addition to three-on-three
and five-on-five basketball tournaments, along with a volleyball tournament. "We want
kids and adults to use this facility," he said. "We'll be asking for help to develop some
of these events."
Ritchie said it is a real bargain for kids and adults, under 12 is $2 and over 12 is $3, for
the day. "This pool is operated for the community as a safe and fun place to come."
The late night swim is $1. "Where else can you find such a deal?," he asked. Passes
for the summer are $40 for the first person and $5 for the second person. Pool parties
are $25 an hour.
Late night swimming is only a buck
