| Larry D. Jarvis, 63, of Minnora, died Friday, September 2, 2005, at his home, after an extended illness.
He was born February 21, 1942, at Minnora, the son of the late Dorse and Melba Tucker Jarvis.
Larry was a retired employee of Otis Elevator, Cleveland, OH and a former Calhoun County Deputy Sheriff. He was a member and Sunday School teacher of the Prudence Chapel United Methodist Church, Minnora. Also, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his wife, Terri Jarvis of Minnora; son, Jerry Jarvis of Parma, OH; daughters, Cynthia Benedict of Elyria, OH and Valerie Hall of Chesapeake Bay, VA; sisters, Ruth Dawson of Virginia and Debbie Sears of Minnora; five grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted Tuesday, September 6 at 11:00 a.m. in the Prudence Chapel Cemetery, Minnora, with the Rev. Tim Hickman officiating. There will be a gathering of friends and family in pavilion located in the cemetery immediately after the memorial service.
