| Notice to the citizens of Calhoun County ... this is to inform the public of the changes to the county Humane Society.
We have just received a certificate of amendment from the Secretary of State we are now "FURR-Y FRIENDS" SPAY-NEUTER GROUP, INC.
The reason for the change is the lack of funding for the building of kennels.
We will be arranging spay-neuter services for those who qualify.
We would love to see a Humane Society in Calhoun County in the future, but in the meantime we hope to cut down on the number of unwanted animals.
We will still need the community's help with fund-raising and donations ... Janet Richards, President.
