Calhoun's Cam Nicholas has won second in USA competition for his bow shooting, and has placed fourth in the world in the age 15-17 category, competing at Snowshoe WV in the IBO World Championship and at Columbus GA in the ASA Classic.
Both of the events were held during August. Nicholas received $400 in cash prizes, sponsor supports and a scholarship at Hocking Valley College, Ohio.
The world bow shooting event at Snowshoe drew over 2000 people, with countries from Australia to Germany participating.
Nicholas has won dozens of bow shooting awards. He is sponsored by Gary's Sporting, Bohning Vanes and Trophy Taker.
