Fairmont State Community and Technical College will be offering a Well Tender I class at Calhoun-Gilmer Career Center beginning Tuesday August 23 from 6 to 9 p.m.
The class will run for approximately 16 weeks on Tuesday nights. Two Saturdays will be needed to do field work. The class will be worth 4 college credits.
If you are interested in taking this class, and have not registered, you may register that evening from 5 p.m. until class time. The cost of the class is $488.
Upon successful completion of this class and the Well Tender II Class you will be eligible for a skill set certificate.
Calhoun-Gilmer Career Center offers day classes for adults. Adults may enroll in Business Education, Criminal Justice, Automotive, Cisco/Aries, Building Construction, Welding/Metal Technology, Health Occupations (Medical Aide) and Medical Reimbursement Specialist, Pro-Start Food Management and Environmental Science.
These classes run daily beginning Friday August 26. You may pick up an application blank at the Center. Calhoun- Gilmer Career Center offers part time adult basic education classes. A schedule will be established in September.
