| Robert Stump, 71, of Parkersburg, formerly of Grantsville, passed away July 15, 2005 at the Arbors of Marietta, Ohio, following a long illness.
Born at Grantsville, he was the son of the late Sherman and Cora Stump.
Surviving, sons, Robert Stump and Clifford Stump of Parkersburg, Scottie Stump of Deerwalk; daughter, Colona Maxwell of Parkersburg; brother, Roy Stump of Lorrain, Ohio; sisters, Gladys Stump and Pearl Graham of Ohio; eight grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a son, Walter Westfall; sisters, Murl Mahoney, Lucille Murray and Violet Stump; brothers, Otho, John, Jake and Dennis.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Stump Funeral Home in Grantsville with the Rev. Mike Lamb officiating. Interment will be in the Clayton Stump Cemetery, Stumptown.
