NIGHT JANITOR SHOT IN KANAWHA - Charleston Police are investigating the shooting death of a night janitor at the Kanawha County Solid Waste Authority's recycling center.
The body of 45-year-old Harvey Pomeroy was found about 6 a.m. yesterday by a truck driver.
Investigators are still working to develop leads and hope to locate witnesses.
WOMAN SHOT OVER DIRTY DISHES - Pennsylvania State Police say an argument over dirty dishes ended with a man shooting and killing his wife with a .22 caliber rifle.
Jessica Petrie was taken to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, West Virginia, where she died Thursday night.
Twenty-seven-year-old James Petrie is in the Greene County jail this morning in Pennsylvania and is accused of killing his wife, 17-year-old Jessica Petrie, yesterday at their Richhill Township home.
PARKERSBURG STABBING - Parkersburg police have arrested two men in connection with a stabbing last week on the city's south side.
Mike Gabbert and David Wilson are suspected in beating up a Camden Avenue man.
Gabbert is charged with battery and brandishing a weapon, and Wilson is charged with battery in the early morning incident.
Police say around 5 a.m. Ted Dawson got on his bicycle ready to set off for work when the two men attacked him in front of his Camden Avenue home.
Parkersburg Police say Gabbert tried stabbing Dawson, but instead after a brief scuffle, accidentally stabbed himself in the chest by falling on his knife.
CHARLESTON MEN SHOOT CAR - Two men were arrested on Virginia Street in Charleston's East End Friday after allegedly shooting up a car on Hillcrest Drive.
Timothy Lanham Jr., 21, and Roger Myers, 20, both of Charleston, " Went to Hillcrest Drive to talk to some people about some phone calls," Ptl. B.L. Tagayun of the Charleston Police Department said in the complaint.
Myers allegedly told Lanham, who was driving, to stop the car in the 1000 block of Hillcrest Drive and then shot the hood and side of a red car, emptying his pistol.
The two were later stopped, Myers allegedly admitted to shooting the car, saying he was angry.
Both were charged with wanton endangerment, which carries a sentence of one to five years in prison, or up to one year in jail, a fine of $250 to $2,500, or both.
Lanham was also charged with accessory after the fact, which warrants up to one year in jail and up to a $500 fine. He is being held on a $15,000 bail and Myers is being held on $25,000 bail.
