| Basil Arno (Bud) Cooper, 41, of Grantsville, West Virginia, passed away July 3, 2005 at his home.
Born November 13, 1963, he was a son of Tom Cooper of Chloe and Helen Jarvis Burns of Elizabeth. He was a heavy equipment operator in the pipeline construction industry.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his wife, Becky Whipkey Cooper; son, Adam Roberts of Mt. Zion; daughter, Kayla Cooper of Five Forks; 4 sisters, Tammy McCullough of Chloe, Kathy Moneypenny of Arizona, Lisa Laughlin of Arnoldsburg and Mary Coplin of Elizabeth.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Arno and Roxie Sears Cooper, and his maternal grandparents, Cecil and Nell Arnold Jarvis, and his stepfather, Michael Burns.
Memorial services will be held 7 p.m. Thursday, July 7 at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg. Rev. Tim Hickman will officiate.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
