Calhoun resident Clyde Capps, 19, has been placed in a step-down unit at Charleston Area Medical Center.
Capps was critically injured last Wednesday when he wrecked his motorbike in the Stinson area.
Family members said he has received a severe spinal injury which will likely keep him from walking again.
He is scheduled for surgery mid-week, surgeons will implant rods next to his spinal column, which will help him to sit erect.
Family members have been at his bedside since the accident happened. |
